Description

The youth research ship is looking for interns to work with children and young people.

The ship is an extracurricular place of learning and is located in Lake Tegel not far from the Greenwich Promenade. School classes come on board, from third to advanced biology courses, to deal with the topics of water ecology, renewable energies and environmental protection.
On site, we take the schoolchildren out onto the lake in a dinghy to carry out physical measurements, take plankton microscopes and examine the chemical parameters of the lake.
The school classes usually come between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
The tasks of the team include not only supervising subgroups but also carrying out learning modules (e.g. biology, physics).

Pedagogical training would be useful, as well as experience in dealing with children and young people.
